Welding alloys needed to complete a complex relocation featuring a completely different working environment to their existing one (aged industrial/commercial to modern office complex). They wanted to ensure that the team could be seamlessly relocated with minimal disruption to work. This required bespoke hardware design and fit, server platforms moving and upgrading, network and telephony planning design and implementation, communications, and process management with remote parent company liaison.

Process management was key to the success of this project. Welding Alloys had a complex workflow featuring several unknowable factors (flexible timeframe and requirements). This made communication key, with multiple stakeholders in different locations needing to be updated and managed throughout the process. At all stages, CAMBITION ensured that all parties had the information they required to make quick decisions possible, fluid and time sensitive.

The transition to the new premises was completed without any significant downtime or loss to operational capacity. Systems were upgraded in ways that met or exceeded the client’s compliance requirements and service was able to continue without compromising the team’s ability to work.
